With the continued competition for homes for sale, buyers have been asking if they should skip the home inspection step. Our answer is NO in most cases. Many sellers are offering their home for sale As-Is so it is critical for a buyer to obtain an independent assessment to know exactly what As-Is means for that particular home. We have some strategies to help buyers compete in this market but skipping the home inspection in most cases is a very risky idea.
